Dear Students,It gives me immense pleasure to well come you to Dharmasala College. This noble institute of higher education is located in the western part of Assam enters the twenty nine years of its glorious journey. The college has fixed its goal to achieve high quality learning standards in the field of higher education. Dharmasala College was established in the year 1993 under the tremendous demands of the public and co-operation of the guardians for sponsoring a degree college in the rural area and named after the dynamic village Dharmasala to cater higher education to the post Higher Secondary Students hailing from in and around Dharmasala. The College is located in the remote area of the Indo-Bangladesh border which is the most backward place of Assam since there was no college or institution for higher studies within the radius of 20 kilometers. Moreover, the entire population of this backward area belongs to the below poverty line having no capacity to provide financial assistance to send their young children elsewhere for higher education.This College is situated at the heart of Dharmasala adjacent to Dharmasala Veterinary Hospital and the College is also very near to Gauripur Dev. Block, Dharmasala, Dharmasala Watch Post, Dharmasala PHC and Hadurhat Dharmasala H.S. School.

The College aims to facilitate the learning and holistic development of the students through a well planned curriculum and co-scholastic activities. On behalf of Dharmasala College it is my most pleasant duty to invite you to enroll in the College and march towards success.
