• To introduce the students to different modes of communication in the teaching learning processes.
• To inculcate leadership qualities and communication skills through various activities.
• To create multifaceted personalities and thereby bring out their intellect into the mainstream of academic ambience.

About the Department:

               Since its inception in the year 1993, the Department of English of our College primarily attempts in increasing the creativity of the students and enhances their utmost capabilities in the field of English Language and Literature. The Department of English throws light not only to make the students academically sound but also to gain the versatile creative talents by setting up different activities time to time. The Department of English strives to develop the students by giving them Remedial Course, Group Discussion and insists them to participate in various competitions. It offers only B.A. Regular Core and Honours Core in English and always tries to give a platform to acquire and showcase their talents to adept themselves in the contemporary world. As per as the research and innovations are concerned, the Department endeavors and encourages the faculties as well as students in participating in conferences, seminars and workshops etc. At present, the Department has three faculty members.
