About the department

DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS 

Department of Economics was established along with the establishment of the College in 1993 and attained affiliation in 11/03/2006. The Department of Economics offers pass course as well as Honours/Major course, introduced in 2011 to cater growing need for specialization and in-depth knowledge of the discipline. 

Objectives:

To provide awareness of the Economics entrepreneurial and social condition, this will facilitate under-standing of Economics issues leading to policy making.  

Vision:

To increase interests amongst the students towards Economics subject uphold high standards of Academic performance and provide them with quality Education.
