About the department

DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE

Department of Political Science was established along with the establishment of the College in 1993 and attained affiliation in 11/03/2006. Honours/Major courses were introduced in 2011 to cater growing need for specialization and in-depth knowledge of the discipline. 

Objectives:

The main objectives of the Department of Political Science are to generate a keen interest in Students towards the Master Science of Politics and enable them to develop a rational mindset towards of Political Significance. It also aims to inculcate Political values of social justice, gender equality and social inclusion among the students. 

Vision:

The vision of the Department is to groom each and every Student as responsible Citizen, enrich the quality knowledge with a Commitment to Contribute positively for the Society they belong.
