About the department

DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY :

The Department of History was established along with the establishment of the College in 1993 and attained affiliation on 11-03-2006. General course was introduced in 1993 to cater growing need for specialization and in-depth knowledge of the discipline. 

Objectives:

The main objectives of the department of history are to generate a keen interest of the students] of history and enable them to develop a rational mindset towards of Historical significance. It also aims to inculcate historical values of social, Justice, gender quality and social inclusion among the students. 

Vision:

The vision of the department of history is to groom each and every student is responsible citizen enrich the quality knowledge with a commitment to contribution positively for the sake and benefit of the society.
